Hello, sorry for my bad english.

I need some help, I have to buy a new mobo, and I dont know what to choose.

I have a Pentium D945 --> FSB 800MHZ (200x4)

What do you buy, a DDR3 mobo:
Asus P5G41T-M LX
Gigabyte G41MT-D3V
or any ASRock.

Or buy a DDR2 mobo,

ASRock P5B-DE Intel P965 LGA775 DDR2 ATX
Asrock G31M-GS R2.0 mATX LGA775

And memory?
What MHZ for the RAM?

800 for a DDR2
1066/1333 for a DDR3

AND 2GB or 4GB?

I repeat, sorry for my bad english, i hope you can help me.

The only one of these boards that will support an Intel® Pentium® D 945 is the ASRock P5B-DE. All of the others while supporting the same socket (775) don't support the all of the earlier Intel Pentium 4 and Intel Pentium D processors. They do suppport the Intel Pentium Dual Core processor (which is based off the same micro-archetecture as the Intel Core 2 Duo). So you are going to have to go with the P5B-DE and some DDR 2 memory.

Thanks for the answer.

I found this motherboiard with DDR3 and compatible
ASRock G41M-S3
http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.es.asp?Model=G41M-S3

Now i have:
- Pentium D 945, 3.4GHz Socket 775
- ATI RADEON x1050, 512Mb
- Broken Gigabyte motherboard
- 1GB DDR2
- Monitor ACER AL1917Cs (1280 x 1024 @75Hz)

I want to renew my PC, for playing all new games in lowest end.

I think first in:
- Motherboard: ASRock G41M-S3 -> http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.es.asp?Model=G41M-S3 (I think is compatible with Intel Pentium D 945)
- Buy a ATI HD 5770 or 6770
- Buy 4 GB of DD3

I think in:
- Intel G630 2.6Ghz Socket 1155
- ATI Sapphire Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 Refurbished
- What motherboard? I think in:
- Asus P8H61-M LE B3
- Asus P8H61-M LX
- And buy 8GB DDR3

What do you think people?
Worth it with that monitor?
