Hello community.

I recently built a gaming PC and it has been experiencing some random freezing issues. I would like to know if all the parts have a good compatibility with each other though. The parts are:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 450 Tri Core

RAM: Patriot 4 GB G2 PC3-10666 1333MHz (2 of these)

Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-MLX

Video Card: Palit GTX460 1GB PCI-E

PSU: Cooler Master GX 650W

Networking Card: TRENDnet TEW-643PI

CD Drive: Dual Layer DVD Burner (LG H22NS)

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit

If I'm missing anything please let me know!

Yupp that's the board, and I can't return the PSU. I'll check with the store to see what they can do for me.

The parts are compatible but I dunno, I think you should do a format on the drive and re-install windows or restoring windows

I've done that before. I wiped the drive and re-installed windows 7 back on. It didn't fix anything.

Just to further clarify, the PC has spent a fair amount of it's time in at our local computer shop. We have swapped out the PSU, Motherboard, GPU and RAM (RAM was faulty) to see if it could fix the problem too. Only thing left is CPU, networking card, HDD, and disk drive.
