How to set ASUS M4A77TD to AHCI

Hi, guys. I'm getting an SSD soon, and I want to take the most out of it by trimming it. But I'm really clueless to these BIOS things. So, I want to ask something:
1. Is ASUS M4A77TD able to be set as AHCI?
2. If it is, can someone give me a step by step guide to do it? Or a link to such tutorial? Like, what should I download, what should I install, etc. etc.

Of course, I've done some search by myself, but I'm not sure because it never stated whether it works for M4A77TD or not. Here's the easiest tutorial I could find:
http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-enable-ahci-suppor...

Referring to that tutorial, I've checked my Device Manager, and there is no such thing as AHCI on my Device Manager. What should I do in order to enable AHCI on my motherboard?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can set that board's BIOS to use ACHI mode for SATA. Look at section 2.3.4 in your manual. If you have no manual, you can download it from the Asus site.

You may want to follow this SSD tutorial for a fresh install of the O/S on the drive. It is very helpful and will eliminate some of the pitfalls with SSD installation:

Hmm...one more thing...if I am to change my BIOS mode, do I have to format my HDD? Thanks again. :)
