My wireless icon has dissappeared from my computer

I just got clear internet service. I have the clear wireless modem with the router built in. A few hours ago my internet disconnected and my network icon disappeared. I have tried everything to reconnect and it is not even showing I have a wireless connection. Please help me!

Depending on your operating system (assuming Windows) you need to look in Control Panel then if XP, Network Connections or Vista and Windows 7 its Network and Sharing Centre. The connection will show there if it's made. First, check that if you're using a laptop, you haven't inadvertently switched off the wireless facility.
