i have a Ati hd 6850 graphics card with a 2200e benq monitor with 1920 x 1080 resolution witch is recommended .since i installed this card i have a 1" border around the outside . shouldn't i be able to fill the whole screen

Make sure the monitor is configured right (the settings of the monitor itself). Try playing around and stretching the picture a bit to see if that fixes it.

Yes you need to set your monitors resolution to 1920x1080. lol

it is set to 1920 x 1080 there is no difference

Are you in the USA? I can't even find a 2200E or E2200 on BenQ's English site.

it is a e2200hd monitor . no i am in Canada according to BenQ u don't need to install a driver

Go into Catalyst Control Center.

Under the Digital Panel (DVI) section look for Scaling Options. Slide it towards Overscan.
