Keep My monitor on

Hello I have a i built and i was wondering if there was a way to keep the signal from my Graphics card going to my monitor even though the computer is off. I know most computers you buy come like this but how can i set this up on a custom built system

What? If the computer is off, you won't be able to see anything on the monitor, so why would you want it on?

Well Not on But On all my other computers the monitor goes into standby mode which i presumed was the Graphics card still sending a signal. For instance on that computer when it shuts down the monitor goes into power save mode or standby. But on my computer when i shut it down the monitor just says searching for signal

The monitor turn off when you turn off your computer.

You could just turn the monitor off and then turn it back on again when you reboot the PC.
