Hello, I need a PHY chip Realtek RTL8201BL or RTL8201CP to replace it on my PopcornHour A-110 - network fried, shows MAC 00000000.
Any ideea how to get one ? Could be from a network card, motherboard is too expensive to buy and extract the chip.

PopcornHour A-110 is a player based on Sigma Design SMP8635 chip. It's on Linux, so I cannot use another type of adapter for wired network - is not supported in firmware, subsequently lack of configuration settings. I have to stay to original design.
Its board don't have any PCI or mini-PCI slots.
The Realtek chip responsible for network connection is soldered directly on the PCB, so I have to replace it. The player is working fine (except the network section).
I asked for help to identify the exact type of hardware containing this chip RTL8201BL or RTL8201CP (they are pin to pin compatible).
As far as I found out, this chip is used in motherboards, no PCI network card I've seen till now uses it.
Does anyone know about a component retailer that ships in Europe (Romania) ?
Thanks for your answers.
