Budget gaming pc

hi im thinking of buying some parts for a very low budget gaming pc, my question is are the parts wort buying cos im not working at the moment so no more money to spend on a proper rig, here are the parts:
DDR3 KIT 2X2GB 1600MHz KINGSTON XMP Blu
Core i3-540
ASUS P7H55-M or MSI H55M-ED55 the msi one is better from what iv red
im gonna use my old hdd psu and 8600gt for now, i know the gpu is very old im gonna by 550 ti next month i thing.thanks

Memory looks good.
Don't buy the 540, get a new SB chip (i3-xxxx) or go AMD: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/phenom-ii-overclock-graphics-card,review-32280.html

i forgot to mention i will overclock as much as possible the cpu after i get proper fan

Asus' new graphic BIOS is nice. You should note the i3 is virtually un-overclockable. If you want to overclock, you need to buy AMD (in this price range). I suggest ASRock 970 motherboard + X4 955 BE; happy overclocking!
