Hello,I just built a new PC, and everything works just fine except for one thing. When I take out my OS CD (Windows 7 Professional 64-bit) from the ROM drive, I get an error message and Windows will not boot. I forget the last digit but it is 0xf000000- In the BIOS I have it set to boot from cd-rom first, then hard drive. It will then check for a CD then hit the error message. I have tried changing it to hard drive first, but unless the OS cd in in the drive, it will not follow through. Any suggestions?

may not be the right forum for this, but you will need to provide some additional info:

the exact code
are your drives set up in AHCI, RAID or IDE?
what MB model?
what model DVD/CD drive?
During the post of when in the Bios can you see all your ram? HDD's ect...

things to try.
move the DVD and HDD to differnt SATA ports
re-seat all components and cables (GPU, RAM)
