Hi,

All of the above are from directcanada.com

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64BIT DVD OEM
$93.79

The OS is from best direct

The total is $1087.62 with tax

I am Curious about the RAM because it seems awfully cheap for 8 gigs. I am open to suggestions and ways to save money. I may also want to use SLI or Crossfire in the future and I will be overclocking.

  1. Corsair and XFX psu's are both manufactured by Seasonic....so you can save a few $ with this psu down below. The only difference is the name on it...virtually the same psu as that Corsair you have yet it's a few dollars cheaper. Also I don't see an after market cpu h/s on your list up there....

XFX 750W PRO750W Core Edition Single Rail ATX 12V 62A 24PIN ATX Power Supply 80PLUS Bronze

Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 7200.12 1TB SATA 32MB Cache 3.5IN Internal Hard Drive OEM
  2. OK thanks, I meant to ask about the h/s, I was also considering starting on the stock and then upgrading later. What coolers would you suggest? and is there anything else I might want?
  3. btw, are there any other suggestions for gpu's I dont want to spend more than $300.
  4. The GTX 560 Ti or 6950 is the best you can get for <$300 (without rebates) the next step up would be 2x GTX 460's in SLI (about $320) or a GTX 570.

The hyper 212+ is probably your best option. It's only $30, and is an excellent cooler. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B002G1YPH0/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&qid=1309809878&sr=8-1&condition=new
