Is another sound card needed??

Guys Im plannin to get an Asus P9X79 Motherboard.....so will it have have an inbuilt sound card option or something like that or shud i get a separate sound card to get the sound from my speakers???

It has built in audio,no card needed to get sound ^ driver for sound

Sound cards are almost never useful.

Why do you want that motherboard? It's very expensive. Unless you have some kind of specialized use for it, get something much cheaper. Do you even have a reason to go LGA 2011 instead of the much more economical 1155 (Z77 motherboards)? This may save you a few hundred dollars.
