I am planning my first build when the Z68 chipsent becomes available in early May. I will do quite a bit of video encoding, so the Z68 chipset and LucidLogix's Virtu will be important to me in order to take advantage of QuickSync. This computer will not see much gaming, so I don't need a top-of-the-line graphics card, but I would like to make sure that I am not hindering my system. The HD 6570 and HD 5770 are both in my price range ($75 - $125+), but I am open to suggestions. Money that I save on a graphics card will be put toward a larger SSD, so I am trying to find the right performance to price balance.

Thanks for the help!

I would have suggested the 5770 because it is a lot faster than the 6670 but it is a bit older tech than the 6670 and you don't really need that much power.I guess if you feel you need more power than by all means get the 5770 it is a great card.I only suggest the 6670 only on the fact that is newer tech and lighter on power.

MSI 6670 $100 + $7 Shipping.

Are you going to run multiple monitors?[/quotemsg]

I am unlikely to run multiple monitors. I thought about the 6670, but I can get the 5770 for $105 + $5 shipping, and it seems to have substantially better benchmarks for the same price.

Aside from benchmarks, were there other updates thta make the 6670 more appealing?
