430 GT or 5670

The radeon hd 5670 with 1GB GDDR5 is around 85$ after rebate at newegg
The Nividia 430 GT is 45$ after rebate and shipping at newegg
I want to be able to play portal 2, starcraft 2, and minecraft with no lag...In addition, I buy around one pc game a year, and usually its not too demanding...which card should I get since I'm on a slightly tight budget?
Im willing to pay a bit more if there is a huge diifference in the 5670...
The rest of my pc:
8 gb of ram
Phenom II x4 840 3.2 ghz (no L3 cache)
1024 x 768 resolution monitor

EDIT: The 5570 is another possibility if thats better....

Get 4 Gigs of RAM, a Athlon 640 quad or a Athlon 450 Triple core, and spend the spare money on a GPU.

Also, I dont need a really expensive GPU...Im planning on playing mostly valve games in addition to the Starcraft II games...

Get the 5670. It's faster than the 430.

but do I need that to play the games that I want to play...and does it make that much of a difference in those games that i should pay 40$ more?
