Quick question please.

Hi, I'm going to buy a new processor tomorrow, I've literally got exactly £100. I have two options AMD 955 3.2ghz Black edition or the AMD 965 black edition 3.4.ghz

Even though it says it's black edition i wont be toying with overclocking, I'm not willing to mess with things that are way out of my depth.

So should I save £12 or go for the 3.4 please? Will there be a noticeable difference? I mainly play games. My card is Ati Radeon 6870 HD.

Thank you.

More about quick question please
  1. There is about 5% difference so it is up to you. I personally would not spend the 12 pounds.

  3. They are the same chip, save the £12, grab a few beers with the money and read this

its not as scary as it looks, but with a little O/c you will match the 965's performance no problems
