Starcraft2 restoring issues.

I just recent built a computer. Amd phenom II x4 955 black. 4gb Kingston DDR3 ram. Gigabyte motherboard, sapphire 5770 card, windows 7 ultimate.

The problem lies when I minimize starcraft2, it minimizes instantly. But when I go to restore the game from minimized, it takes a long time, sometimes minutes, to restore the game.

Any ideas? I've been trying everything.

That's a common occurance. It seems to depend on the game, because for me, newer games like Mass Effect 2 or Dragon Age take a bit to maximize after being minimized, but older games like City of Heroes or Half Life 2 have no problems at all. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the reply. An easy fix I found was simply turning it on fullscreen windowed. It looks the same and the computer can handle it very easily. The brightness and gamma is just set to your windows settings instead of the games settings.
