Whats a good temp. for the CPU to run

Got a gigabyte board.. and a AMD II x4 phenom. Its running at 37-45 degree's Celsius. Is this bad or what it should be running?

Is that load or idle? AMD recommends maximum safe temp to be 62C IIRC.

I think it idles at 35 C . Its a brand new computer i just put the thermal paste on and have an aftermarket cooling fan the +212 or whatever. Looks like the max temp its gotten up to gaming(not heavy) is 42 C

in the bios it says 60-90 C is max temp
