So, I'm looking for what graphics card I could buy for my Inspiron 531, The specs are as follows.

AMD Athlon X2 64 3800+ 2Ghz

1GB DDR2 RAM (2x512mb)

Dell AM2 0RY206 (With pcie x16 slot)

256mb Radeon X1300PRO

300W Dell PSU (Good brand, as dell uses high-end PSU's).

What graphics cards could I have in here, that are better than my current one?
Ones that don't need nay power cables ofc.

I won't be upgrading anything else as I will be getting a new gaming rig soon.

I've used a GT240 from Nvidia in my Dell. Single slot, compact card with plenty of grunt - runs fast, cool.

The ATI equivalent would be the ATI HD5670 1GB PCIe and looks to be much superior to the GT240 for the same power/heat usage. (Forget the GT240)
