System build 2011 hardware compibility

Hello,
Built new system with these specs
Gigabyte GA-z68x-ud7-b3
Intel I7 2600
XFX Radeon 6970
WD VelociRaptor 600GB x2 Raid 0
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16 GB
Corsair Pro Series 750 Watt PS

Would anyone know why it would run fine, but have a problem coming out of screen saver (freezing) for three minutes.

Task Manager going not responding as soon as it open, and sometimes take a minute or two to open.

Did you install all of the drivers? What antivirus program are you running? Has it acted like this since you first powered it up, or did it just start doing this? Am I safe to assume you are running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit? Is your CPU just an i7-2600 or is it the i7-2600k? If it is the k version, have you overclocked it yet? Is this the first time you have set up RAID?

This is a brand new install, I haven't installed antivirus yet. All of the drivers are up to date. The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit. The CPU is the i7-2600 not the k version, not really into overclocking. I have setup RAID before, my last system was the VelociRaptor 300s in a RAID 0 and everything worked fine.

I love the G.Skill RAM you have in there, but you might want to run Memtest to make sure you didn't get a bad stick. http://www.memtest.org/#downiso
