Is this caused by my GPU?

I recently bought a 5870 from newegg and I'm having this problem from the video around 0:08. Could this be because I got a faulty gpu? I'm not sure if this is a gpu or a driver problem but I also installed new mobo and ram which makes it hard to know which is the culprit.

did it always happen? if you think it was driver related then try using different drivers

This starts to happen randomly or maybe after I left the pc for a few hours but I don't think its a heat issue because its only running at 46-50C on idle. If the problem starts appearing it mostly happens when I change website or play a video like the one I uploaded in youtube.

Nope but i think it starts to happen after i finish playing graphics heavy games

try running furmark. if no issues arise during the test most likely your card are fine. i suspect the problem might related to driver. have you try other drivers yet?

Im gonna try other drivers now. Good thing they just released a new driver update today.
