Ddr3 cant use both slots with MSI G41-P25

I got a new MB a G41M-P25 which supports the maximum of two sticks of DDR3 each at 4 gigs.
I can use 1 stick and boot fine. I can take it out and use the other stick and using it only boot fine.

If I however use both sticks one in each slot the computer resets and resets and resets over and over without ever getting to a bios screen just power on power off over and over.

I have yet to read anything about this issue and would appreciate any help anyone might have.
