Reusing 5 year old parts

So I'm about to build a new computer for gaming, and plan on overclocking and don't mind spending a buck more for a bit of performance. That being said this computer I have was built in '06, and died last year. I think the PSu died and I want to reuse all I can. (If it is not worth it to reuse so be it)

is that what your going to buy? or is that what your current PC has? if your going to buy that you REALLY shouldn't be investing in such old tech. if you already have that and its the PC you build it 2006, its quite good, you could reuse that GPU, the velocity raptor drive, the sound card the cooler and the monitor

That is waht my old computer has, def not what I want to buy. Thanks for the help with that. I might make it my movie server. Thanks for everything. WIll def take a look at what I need to reuse.

i would reccommend buying a new graphics card though, and leaving that old card as a dedicated PPU. Or if your still happy with its performance then don't bother upgrading that GPU.
