I have a new Ambit modem and was going to get either a Toshiba PCX-2500 or PCX-2600 or a D-Link DCM-202.
Do does anybody know anything about Ambit, Toshiba or D-Link modems?
I think the D-Link or Toshiba's are probably better but don't know. I was leaning towards the D-Link DCM-202 modem. The D-Link has some settings plus TurboDox software that Dlink says boost download up to 20%?
My ISP: RoadRunner with up to 5Mbit download speed.

I doubt there is much of a difference between them. Just get the cheapest one (the PCX2500 doesn't support the latest certs though). I sincerely doubt that TurboDox is anything worth considerting. Maybe that is their latest upgrade to bring their hardware up to where everyone elses is, lol. My personal experience with D-Link has been pretty bad in case you couldn't tell :)

I'm a fan of linksys (never had any problems with their hardware) so I'll also throw in the BEFCMU10 and another choice. Everone I know that has cable has a Motorola modem, they might be worth checking out as well.
