100hz Monitor

Hey guys,

I hope this is the right category, I couldn't find a better one.

I am looking for a 100hz monitor as I'm changing my current one soon.

It has to be widescreen 22" to 24". Is there any monitor in specific you can recommend and should I wait till later this year when I'm updating my hardware?

I use the BenQ XL2410T 24" 120hz 3d ready LED monitor. I got it for 250 bucks since it was refurb. It is literally the best monitor I have ever used and I have went through plenty.

I'm assuming 120hz is fine and it does not have to be 100hz right? 120hz monitors are usually capable of 3d stuff. Do you have a certain budget in mind?

My budget is 2000$ max.. but I think 500-1000$ is normal. LED preferred, but LCD is nice as well if the performance is better.

Two thousand dollars just for a monitor? That's overkill and for top performance in 22-24" widescreen monitors you won't have to spend over 500. Just look for the latest 120hz monitor.

These are my recommendations to look into:
BenQ XL2410T
Asus VG236H
LG W2363D

The acer HN274H is a 27" widescreen 120hz monitor and costs around 600-900 I think.

Are you planning on buying multiple for a multi-monitor setup?

Just one and i am not keen on getting anything larger than 24" as it exceeds my needs. I am using it for playing games as well as multimedia.
