Assuming you meant the ASUS M5A97 - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/M5A97/#specifications

That would indicate a problem with the MOBO since the 'Blue' PCIe x16 slot is ideally meant for the GPU. Things to try:
1. Clear CMOS (unplug the PSU for 5+ minutes) use the CMOS Jumper 5+ seconds ; see - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdHH9KrceR0
2. Boot into the BIOS and press (F5) to Load Defaults, save and shutdown.
3. Blow-out and ensure the Blue PCIe slot is clean and the GT 430 is properly seated, and to my knowledge there's no additional power (PCIe power pins) - but if there is then connect per the GPU's manual.

Try again.

Failure, re-flash the BIOS using ONLY ASUS EZ Flash 2 ; see - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/289507-30-what-flash

Cool! :sol:

i found a culprit bloody hell its my gpu gt 430 worst gpu ever made nvidia totally *** my cpu is far better this seems me that before i have old machine c2d and now amd fx
i far better then that so i think i fall in love of amd and ati and intel nvidia totally *** **** i have to buy a new gpu i will buy 7970 dont buy intel and nvidia product full of ***

Well, the 430 isnt made as a high end gaming vid card by any means. I use them in the custom HTPCs I build and they are great for that. Any card with DDR3, unless you are running at a really low resololution, will provide very unsatisfactory results. The 7970 is a beast of a card and with the new drivers coming out will give you supreme performance.

Now don't hold back ;)

My overall experience is x3~x4 higher failure rates with ATI/AMD over nVidia, and it depends on who's manufacturing the GPUs. I tend to prefer EVGA or ASUS, and EVGA with '-AR' series with Lifetime Warranties -- then I don't care too much if they fail -- water-blocked -- yeah I don't like spending a couple hours -- Lifetime Warranties = Peace of Mind :)
