I've been interested in getting a new rig. I'm going to reuse my PSU, case, HDD, and disk drive. I'd like to keep it all under a $600 price point. I need help deciding what components I should change in my build if any is required.
I've chosen:
2500K
XFX 6850 1GB
ASUS P8P67 LE
G.SKILL Sniper 8GB 1600MHz

I'm a gamer.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

On the memory make sure that it is the G.Skill DDR3 1600 “1.5v” memory. If you pick up the 1.65v you can damage your processor and void your warranty. Also with the Intel® Core™ i5-2500K, it does come with a HSF (heatsink/fan) that works fine at stock speeds but if you are going to overclock I do advise that you pick up a good 3rd party HSF to replace it with. Otherwise your build looks good for what is listed.
