Can I improve my bandwidth on my USB port on my computer?

    I have a question, if the motherboard doesn't have usb 3 support natively, would getting usb 3 pcie card work fine?
  3. Assuming the OS supports it then the USB 3.0 Cards work fine. Remember they're non-native to any thing except (Intel's USB 3.0 on e.g. Z77's). In simpler terms you couldn't boot off the USB 3.0 ports or use them in the BIOS, the drivers must be loaded in the OS for the ports to function.
