Amd A8 3850 vs 955 BE

So my uncle is looking into a getting a pc and i plan on building it custom for him. I heard that the A8 has a good gpu chipset on it already so there is no need to buy a decent gpu. he doesn't do gaming or anything, but he definitely multitasks and does some CAD work from time to time. What do you guys recommend?

you think prices r gunna drop dramatically? because the pc he wants it to be around 400-500. Doubt a bulldozer is gunna be in that system becuase to get a mb that can support Bulldozer you gotta drop at least 150+

Bulldozer may not be that price but its release will prompt most of the market to drop their prices.

definitely sounds like a plan. wanted to ask you if your crosshair is worth the price?

^ its probably worth it for him, as on a lesser board running a 6 core cpu at 4ghz would fry the power circuits. if you just want to OC a quad core its not at all necessary though.
