Suggested Gaming and Media Graphics Card?

I would like some recommendation on a new graphics card. I currently have a HIS 4670 1gb IceQ and a 550w PSU. I would like a better one for the long run and I would like to use it for gaming and to play movies through HDMI to my 32'' LCD TV. My LCD monitor resolution is 1600x900 (I might upgrade in future). I just want the best performance card that I can get in my price range (Like everyone else).

Price Range: up to around $125

Specs: Dell Inspiron 560mt, Intel Pentium dual-core E5800 (3.20GHz, 2MB)

Motherboard - 18D1Y

4 GB Kingston Memory

I was looking at two right now in the best PCIe for the money section on this website., if there are any other please let me know.

  1. I would spend a little bit more ($15) for the 5850

Eyes closed no doubt far better then 5770

As you can see the 5850 performs even better then 2 Crossfire 5770's in benchmark's

    Proof^^
  2. Thanks for the reply, I'll definitely keep that in mind.
  3. Bump
  4. Ok, well this is of no help.
  5. Don't bump posts. Also 5850 is not better than 5770 CF if you compare other things, i'd go for Sapphire 5850 Xtreme, they are "dirt" cheap right now on newegg *140$ before rebate with free shipping* and perform great.
