Was wondering if it was worth the money... Im guessing it is from the specs and am thinking of buying it.

As you can see it is OC'd to 840Mhz Core clock. It seems to be good OC'ing material. Just wondering being theres no feedback on it what everyones opinion is - can compare to other 6950 card's, this seems to be the best deal!

Might as well spend a bit more for the Twin Frozr. It's a good card.

Just make sure it has the dual bios switch so you can unlock it to a full out 6970... Im not sure but I read somewhere only the stock looking coolers have that... somebody will have to confirm this though, but if it was me I wouldnt pass such a feature up. A 6970 should be faster than overclocking a 6950 I would think...

If you arent looking to unlock it to a 6970, then a 1gb 6950 is a bit cheaper (~$30) and has the exact same performance as the 2gb 6950.... although having 2gb might future proof it more for games requiring more Vram. 2gb is only necessary for now I think if you plan on playing at 2560 by 1600 res.

This is cheaper and can unlock to a 6970, I'm pretty sure that one cannot. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Yeah, if you want to unlock the card into an HD6970 it is best to stick with a reference model like the one k1114 linked above.

I have the XFX 6950 2gig. it runs hot but not as hot as the gtx560's. I'd take the advice given above. Get the frozer III card. The advice about flashing to the 6970..... personally i think it's a bunch of hogwash sprouted by ding-a-lings. No need to flash. Card can play anything and I wouldn't waste my time on such a dear investment.
