Quick Ram and Motherboards

Hi,

I'm planning to get the P8Z77-V LX motherboard.

I'm just picking out the ram for it but this is my first build so go easy haha. I need some dual channel ram and I want it to be 1600mhz and just for now 2 x 8 (I plan to get another within the next 2 weeks, I just want to get the basic build done)

Would this Ram be compatible?

That ran will work, but it's not really the best choice because
-It has tall heat spreaders which can cause compatibility problems with cpu coolers

I plan to use the stock cooler for a week while I wait for the H100 from corsair, do you think it will fit in both of them?

I think the H100 is compatible with tall ram. You should be OK
