These are the parts that I've got so far, I would like to find cheaper alternatives with the same or better performance. I will be willing to sacrifice a few Gb's or RAM to save money now. I won't sacrifice power supply wattage, and I would like to be 80 Plus Certified.

The case is great, but you could just as well go with the Corsair 600 T and save $100. The PSU is good, but there are other 80 plus 650 W PSUs for 2/3 the price. If you want the gold standard your choice is OK.
The mobo is a good choice.
The 2600K is overkill, go with a 2500K.
If you go with a "green' drive I think that the Samsung 2TB model is a better choice at the same price. I wouldn't go with a "green" model for a boot drive.
That CPU cooler is no better than the Intel cooler that comes with the CPU.
You did not include a GPU, and gaming at 1366 X 768 is hardly hard core gaming.

You are way over budget.

I've updated a few things in my build.
I ended up choosing the case you recommended, out of stock at the moment. Went with a cheaper PSU that has a bronze standard rather than a gold standard. Went with the Core i5 2500k 3.3 GHz(3.7 in turbo mode). 500Gb Hard Drive, 32 Gb SSD boot drive. got rid of secondary heatsink. I have a GPU already - EVGA e-Geforce 8600 GT PCI-e, 512 MB dedicated memory.

Now I'm slightly under budget.
