Budget Range: 200-300 pounds

System Usage from Most to Least Important: 24/7 always on quiet/silent home server hosting magento

Parts Not Required:keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: scan/ebuyer/anywhere cheep

Country of Origin: (e.g.: Grand Fenwick) u.k

Parts Preferences: by brand or type : anything... just needs to be silent and be on all day everyday

Overclocking: no

SLI or Crossfire: no graphics cards

Monitor Resolution: 1080p 27" screen but wont be needed much

Additional Comments: NEEDS 2 500gb harddrives in mirror

You seem to be building an HTPC but using it for e-commerce... it doesn't seem very practical?

Here's the way I would do it on that budget:



But I would likely upgrade the board to this Asus:

That way you have a quad core processor, and more expansion room to add drives.


Oh, and that cart is from Dabs. Scan is just a pain to shop at.
