First build, IB + z68 question

Hey guys, so I just ordered parts for my new build but I've been reading about problems with the bios on the motherboard I ordered (ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3) not accepting Ivy bridge. Is this true? Am I going to have to order a cheap SB cpu to flash the bios?

Ok, I'm going to RMA the z68 and get a z77. Are all z77's IB compatible out of the box or do some still need bios updates?
