First build, IB + z68 question

Hey guys, so I just ordered parts for my new build but I've been reading about problems with the bios on the motherboard I ordered (ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3) not accepting Ivy bridge. Is this true? Am I going to have to order a cheap SB cpu to flash the bios?

More about first build question
  1. most z68 will not natively support ivy bridge unless you bios flash it. Some companies will have it flashed others don't. if it isnt flashed, you will either have to borrow one or buy a cheap sandy bridge cpu like the celeron and flash it.
  2. I would simply get a z77/z75 motherboard and avoid potential problems from incompatible BIOS version. Cheaper than having to buy a low-end SB chip only to do the BIOS flash.
  3. Ok, I'm going to RMA the z68 and get a z77. Are all z77's IB compatible out of the box or do some still need bios updates?

Probably going to get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293
  4. the z77, z75, b75 and h77 were designed for ivy bridge.
