What to do to hard drive before installing new mobo

Hello,
I intend to upgrade to a new motherboard, cpu, and ram while keeping my old hardrive, gpu, dvd drive, and psu. My Vista 64 is not OEM. Will i be able to simply plug everything into the new motherboard and install the drivers?

You could just reactivate, if it will boot.

But why not perform a clean install?

Clean install = all is erased and brand new windows install is made.

Great. U can move your data u like to keep to another drive, and than install the Vista again from scratch. It will run faster than the old one too.
