More umph than xfired 5770s

the xfire setup has the two 5770s in very close proximity (<10mm). luckily they don't produce too much heat and xfire well, but I'm looking for more umph without the noise and a reasonable load temps. In regards to temperature, current solutions I'm looking at are sli'd 560Ti, xfired 6870 or 6950s with a spot cooler blowing in between the cards (no gpu oc'ing). if the temps are too high I'm willing to go to a single card solution anything within $400-500 range. any suggestions? pc build listed below

For that price range, two HD 6950s in CrossfireX would last you a very long time.
