SO I HAVE TO UPDATE THE BIOS FROM A TECHNICIAN . HEY CAN YOU ALSO TELL ME THAT DOES PHENOM II 960T HAS MASSIVE DIFFERNCE IN PERFORMANCE THAN IN AMD FX 4100 . DOES PHENOM II 960T PERFORMS VERY MUCH BETTER THAN FX 4100??

You already have a 4100? Just overclock it.

The 960T will be slightly better when at stock, but the 4100 when OC'd isn't that bad. So no, there won't be a massive difference, especially if you OC the 4100 as it'll probably be better than the 960T in that case.

The only real reason to go for the 960T is the possibility to unlock the other two cores. If the board could handle a 965 BE (it can't), THAT would be the one to get.

Edit: After reading it again, I think you meant that you're deciding between them. If that's true, go with the 4100 and OC it.

BUT SOME PEOPLE SAY THAT FX VERSION ARE WASTE AND NOT ALSO IN THE COMPETITION OF PHENOM II .YES I DO HAVE FX 4100 BUT ITS NOT WORKING WITH THE BOARD I MENTIONED ,SO TOMORROW I AM GOING TO TAKE THE BOARD TO THE REPAIR SHOP AND UPDATE THE BIOS FROM THERE,THAT WHY I WAS ASKING THAT DOES PHENOM II 960 T IS SUPPORTED OR NOT, IF IT IS I GONNA TELL THE SITE THAT THE FX IS NOT WORKING WITH THE BOARD AND REPLACE THE PROCESSOR WITH PHENOM II AS IT IS THE SITES PEOPLE HAVE VERY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE PROCESSORS AND WOULD BELIEVE WHAT I SAID .

Yeah, you'll need to get that BIOS update either way, but I say just stick with the 4100 and OC it, since you already have it. It's not great (or even very good), but OC'd, it's good enough. Enough to keep up with the 960T, at least.
