Hello,

I am looking into purchasing a new MB for my computer.

My current MB is starting to give me random problems with the computer just shutting off completely and just yesterday it would not power up.
I was able to get it to power back up but had to reset CMOS before it would POST and boot again.

Here is my current build
I7 950 LGA1366 3.06GHZ – was OC’d to 3.8GHz prior to recent crash
Zalman Performa CPU Cooler
ASUS P6TD Deluxe LGA 1366 Intel X58
2 Asus 6870s in Crossfire – slight OC on both
6x2GB DDR3 1600MHZ
2 Samsung 1 TB drives 3.0Gbs
2 SanDisk Extreme SSDs 6.0Gbs
Win7 64bit
Seasonic 860W PS

If anyone can recommend a replacement I would appreciate it.

There's plenty of life left in that system. Are you sure you don't want to just back down on overclocking and run it stable?

I have recently taken the OC off just to be safe. I am just worried my MB is going to give out on me since I had it running rock solid, with the OC, for 2 years until the last month.
Yesterday’s issue where the MB wouldn't even power up or POST has me concerned of an imminent failure.

Just want to have some options if the MB does let go.

Your O/Cing may have been too aggressive. The board may have some components cooked a bit too much. If you want to replace it with something similar, just check Newegg for 1366 boards that have the highest ratings. Or visit some older reviews. What is your price range?

Thanks for the reply. I would like to stay under $200 if possible.

I am surprised 2 1/2 years later the price of these MBs hasn't gone down at all.

I have been looking at Newegg but wanted to get people's opinions on this board as well.
