whats an EX 950?

The EX 950 is an Intel Processor currently used in Dell Optiplex computers. Both the
E 7500 and the EX 950 go into the Socket 775 LG. Wether or not the processor will work on my motherboard is what I am trying to find out. Gigabyte compatible processor list does not show the EX 950 although this processor is newer that the motherboard. The compatibility list may not be current as of now. I could just put it in and that may be risky to do. I just don't know.

Cheaper to buy a Coolermaster Hiper 212+ cooler (about $30) and overclock the E7500. 3.4 - 3.6 GHz would be a moderate overclock for an E7500.

I have an E7500 in an EP35-UD3P running at 4.1 GHz.

I took the information off of the PC Wizard 2110, and didn't look any further.
I will now look closer at the information. The computer it is from is a Dell Optiplex GX620.
