New gpu looking at 6790 power an issue?

hi
just looking to get a good cheap gpu ... low enough spec pc but not so bad
looking at new radeon hd 6790 was wondering if this was good?

specs are
MOBO: Packard bell BV Cuba-MS 7301

CPU: Intel Core 2 duo @ 1,86 ghz each

RAM: 1.5 Gb now upgrade to max 2 gb

dont know power supply but i would say about 300 which is too low i would think

budget would be 150€ (inc. p+p) as i live in ireland

gaming would be mostly rts and maybe sims 3 nothing hardcore like crysis

opinions would be appreciated

The HD 6790 is overkill for the type of games you play. The most powerful card that you can run off your PSU is a HD 5670, which should be powerful enough four you.
