Dual Channel Memory?

Alright so i have a MSI z68a-GD65 and my old ram just died which is 4gbs and now i want to upgrade to 8gbs. The problem is that i have a hyper 212+ cooler which makes it hard for me to get any ram without a low profile heatsink and be able to still run dual channel memory. Because apparently for my mobo you have to use the 1st and 3rd dimms in my mobo. So im trying to find out if i should get a better ram and put them into dimm 2 and 4 and not worry about my heatsink but not run my ram in dual channel mode. Im just curious of what i can do to?

Just buy low profile ram and put them in the preferred slots, 1 and 3. Here's some recommended ram:
