Hello sorry if this is the wrong forum in advance!

Okay my question is will this make video come out of my PC to my TV/Monitor!!

This is my TV

This is my Video Card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102875&cm_re=5570-_-14-102-875-_-Product

I see a 15 pin cable on the video card backside, and on the TV input. However when I go to newegg and go to DVI cable the pins look nothing like it! EXample:

Thank you!
Also would it make more sense to get a DVI to HDMI cable instead ? I really dont know much about this stuff but im trying to learn

I've never seen an ATI 5770 without HDMI!!! LOL Have you posted the wrong card? Unless... are you using a MINI HDMI cord? (They exist, and for reasons i will never know)
See that input between the VGA (blue) and the DVI (white). It looks like a USB input, well that's the HDMI input for the card. You stick the HDMI input into there.

I see port and the HDMI fits in but it does not connect with pins I have been moving it up and down and even trying to force it in and it will not go in. it goes in a tiny bit and doesnt actually meet the pins i guess its broken. what can i do from here? I know for a fact tht the DVI port works

It just...doesn't go in? Try flipping the cord around, and then try turning it over. You could be putting it in wrong, btw i didn't know HDMI had..."pins"
Are you sure you're using an HDMI cord? (i know these are dumb questions, but i refuse to believe it wont' "fit" :p haha) how could you damange an HDMI input? Seems more likely that something's not being done right.

Yes sorry I'm not the best at computer stuff but as I said im trying to learn. I hooked the HDMI from the TV and then when I try to put it into the computer video card HDMI slot it goes in about half way and right before the actual little pins or im not sure what they are called but you know the part tht connects it the actual part that is suppose to hold it together doesnt click it. I dont know how else to explain it other then making a video and showing you i have tried both sides and spent 10 minutes on each side, im not a retard it just doesnt fit.

Nahh it's ok :) You're learning, i'm learning, this is a learning forum. So...obviously HDMi isn't goign to work out, so what you're lookign for is a DVI - HDMi converter.

You just plug the DVI cord into your card, then you plug the other end of the DVI into this converter, then the end of the DVi cord becomes HDMI :) Then you can plug it into the tv! There are really expensive converters, (some 30 bucks) The one i posted is about 7 plus tax. Don't get an expensive one, they all perform the same :p same for HDMI, don't get an expensive one, because they all perform the same. Hope that helps!

What you may need is one of these :-

The card in the link defiantly has a HDMI port but the one sold to the OP probably has a DP port.

Hmm are you sure, because if you zoom in on the picture of the video card in his link, it's clearly a DP input. It only has one curve on the corner. I clicked the view of JUST the ports, and zoomed in with the function thingy, and it's clearly a DP port. :p
