*Not sure I put this in the right section*

I'm the Family Pastor of a small Church in Cecilia, KY and our main office computer has recently started making some strange noises a few months back. The sound is coming from the motherboard speaker and it sounds like an alarm clock going off. Buzz, buzz, buzz... silence for a few minutes... buzz, buzz, buzz.

Took the time to back up everything and then 3 weeks ago... buzz, buzz, buzz, CRASH. The computer shut down never to restart. Thinking it was the motherboard I took the HDD out and transferred it to a backup rig which is identical in build. Two days later the buzzing begins on the backup machine.

Anybody have any ideas as to what would cause this?

Well if the buzzing followed the hard drive to an entirely different computer, i guess that is your problem.
