Not using that, but G400MAX instead. Great card, but slow in 3D. Supports Linux well, good drivers, lotsa support, good 3D, nice PCB :cool:

Morgan 1.6Ghz + 256DDR = Dream on
However dreams are approacable :wink:

Hi,

the RT2000 is a good card for semiprofessional use, but be careful what harware you use. On the matrox RT2000 web is a hardwarecompatibility list. READ this FIRST!!!
You can easily capture DV Source and save it as DV (4:2:0 / 4:1:1) or MPEG (I-Frame only). If you use the S-VHS input be sure to use high quality tapes. If the tapes are cheap ones, too much backgroundnoise could be stored on the tape and the RT2000 may not be able to digitize your film. (in this case the RT2000 will be very instable)
If you are carefull and follow some of this guidelines you will have great fun with this baby.
