Asus W2Jc CPU Upgrade question.

Hi all! I have some doubts while I try to find enough information about compatible cpu.
There is Asus W2Jc notebook with the Intel T2500(SL8VP) CPU installed. On Intel site I can see that my CPU has PPGA478 socket, but on socket inside my notebook I can see "mPGA479M" and CPUID also says that my CPU has an "Socket 479 mPGA". I need to know what is the actual socket and can I install a Core2Duo T7600 into my notebook?

P.S. I flashed latest bios update which says "merom CPU support".

if you look at the mobo and go to the manufacturers site they should have a list of every cpu that will work with it. make sure you look at that and that it has the processor you want listed.
