New build for filezilla server

hi all im building a new desktop PC for my filezilla server and i plan to let this PC always lite up is there any configuration i should to not damage the PC or to save some watt or idk??? im a newbe i just wanna know to not damage anything thank you

not sure what kind of 'damage' you're thinking might happen from running filezilla server 24/7. my atom 330 runs filezilla server (among other stuff) 24/7, having no problems.
stick with an atom or fusion if power consumption is a big concern.

im just worry about wattage my setup will be much llikely this athlon II x2 255 with 500gb hd and 4gb ddr2 800mhz power supply 500watt ocz all this for 270$ or a mini netbook is there 1 of the 2 setup that will be better to let the pc always lite up but i would like to know what you think about the forst setup thanks
