[SOLVED] Processor % interrupt time

I have been lagging a bit while gaming and a friend told me to run perfmon so I looked around and one thing I notice when the lag occurs is that the interrupt time jumps from 0-30% range to 80-100% range

I was wondering is there anyway to find out what exactly is causing it? and if the interrupt time was a symptom of the lag or the cause


mobo: maximus iv extreme (bios all default)
cpu: 2600k
ram: CORSAIR Vengeance 1600 PC3 12800
hdd: Crucial RealSSD C300 128g
video: amd hd6970

There is a sign for lag, that is you kinda stop...then jump forward. I don't know but I think it might be the RAM, the RAM stick might be faulty

my friend analyzed the perfmon and found out it was being caused by the game (WoW) so figured it must either be the game itself or drivers I ran it with d3d11 and no more lag
