well i was looking for an external graphic card, but i have no clue on tho which to pick. also i found something old about an ASUS XG station external gpu. what is that and will it enhance my pc. i render a lot.

Rendering is affected by the CPU not the GPU. Well, maybe there are some GPU accelerated rendering programs out there, I'm not an expert, but all the rendering I've seen is 100% CPU reliant.

Unless you're gaming your 5730 mobile card is fine...

If you seriously are doing a lot of graphics and design work you should invest in a good desktop. An i7 2600K at 4.5ghz would completely crush your current mobile CPU in rendering.
