Hi,

My computer is not restarting. My computer's motherboard number is Gigabyte M68MTD3. AM3. with rev number 2.3
For the first time the system will start with no errors but when we restart the system, a continuous beep sound is coming. We have to turn off the PC for 30 minutes and then we have to restart. I changed the RAM too. but of no use. I am using TRANSCEND DDR3 2GB RAM with speed 1333. but there is no use.

OS: tried win7 also. now the OS is win XP sp3.
Processor: Phenon II black
Mother Board : Gigabyte M68MTD3. AM3
RAM: 2 GB

Is there any RAM with 1666+ ? because I saw this number(1666+) on the mother board near RAM slots.

Please help me.

Thank you

Ignore the ram 1666+ thing. It's just a marketing gimmick.

It sounds like your MB is on its way out. I can't attribute that behavior to anything else, so I'm guessing it's the MB.
