So I'm only planning to have 1 monitor but the size is 23in. I really want to get the bang for the buck but I'm a bit unsure which to get. I heard the HD 6950 2GB is more future proof than the HD 6950 1GB but I don't know if it's true. I want the Best Quality in games but I just don't to spend if I don't need it. Also I will not flash it since I want to still have warranty.(Don't try to change me to Nvidia).

Also will there be any Bottleneck?

My PC components:

PSI CyborgX Gaming Case - Black /w Blue Light(looks cool)

Windows 7 64 bit

AMD Athlon™ II X4 635 Quad-Core CPU OC to 3.0Ghz(don't want it to be pushed to far:)

Diamond HD 5830 (OC 915/1100) link:

Hi Suckitupnancy.

A 2GB card will Only benefit you if you use multiple monitors, the difference in performance while using only one will be unnoticeable no matter the circumstances.

It's not really futureproofed unless you consider using multiple screens.
