Just got finished building a computer and I am trying to install Windows 7 onto it using a disk but when I go to set the Disk boot priority, the Optical Drive: Optiarc DVD rw ad-72 doesn't show up. This is weird because if I go into my CMOS features it shows the optical drive as a master IDE channel along with my HDD. So I don't understand what is going on here. Halp!

(If it matters, I'm using SATA cables to connect my Optical drive and my HDD to my Mobo)

Well, it shouldn't be on a Master IDE channel, it should be showing up on the SATA channel.
Disable IDE Onboard Controller, enable Onboard SATA controller and set the Mode to AHCI.
Save and reboot into Bios and see if it shows up anywhere and then change the boot disc order.
